Hello again! It looks like we might get some snow this weekend, so that has me in a holiday frame of mind. It's just in time too because I have a lot of holiday inspired items I want to share in the upcoming weeks. I think I have mentioned that quite a few years ago (during the 90's to be more exact) I did a mess of scrapbooking. It seems so very old school compared to the scrapbooks of today. So between wishing all my 8 1/2 x 11 books were now 12 x 12 and a big divorce later (does anyone but me find it sad to look at old pages built around a broken marriage?) I have slowly been trying to break down the old scrapbooks and give them a face-lift. And I have to repeat over and over again...I am not a very good scrapper! But, alas...I try. And either way, they are really fun to look at.
Here is my latest page. Once again I utilized the very fun papers from Little Yellow Bicycle
Christmas Delights. You can purchase these papers and embellishments plus a whole lot more from
Paper Patch Crafts! The paper is nice and heavy weight and in most cases double sided. There is a lot of foil, sparkles and texture to the papers too and that is always so fun to work with. My image doesn't begin to do it justice because of the camera's reflections off the sparkly paper. But here is what I came up with:
This was my youngest sons 1st Christmas. Ah, the memories....
